Mark Stopforth - Embers of LightThe immersive and wild atmospheres of the coast, moors, fens, fells and estuaries of Britain have been the source of inspiration for Mark for over twenty years. He is interested in the drama of the British landscape at its wildest, and carries his childhood memories of growing up in the Fens of East Anglia. Using charcoal, pencil, oil and chalk, his paintings seek to evoke the feelings of these spaces, the sublime power of nature. Mark has exhibited
